Hello

Congratulations on a wonderul website, and thanks for all the work you've done on tracking down locations.

Last month I visited 3 Ealing locations: Porthleven in Cornwall (Foreman Went To France), Ravencourt Park Hospital (DoN) and the Buckinghamshire farmhouse (DoN).

Porthleven is clearly recognisable from the film, but I was not convinced by the Hospital, I'm afraid - too many changes had taken place to the building, and I could not spot any matching features.
The farmhouse has sadly been altered somewhat since you were there, too - the timber framing has been removed, and a new porch/door has been fitted, and the side gate used by the 2 actors is now covered with plants. I was not sure about the road leading to the farm - in the film it looks much wider than the one at the site.

I did take several photos at each location, including some inside the front garden of the farmhouse - once I have uploaded tham, would you be interested in seeing them ? If so, you'll have to advise me on how I get tham to you - via email ? or this website ?

regards

Andy

Wow this is amazing. This film is one of my favorites along with The Halfway House. Typical Sunday Matinee material where I would sit with my mum and young brother and watch such a film drinking tea and dunking Marie biscuits. The atmosphere is incredible, and you have compiled the footage brilliantly to show the now and then shots. It is a work of art and this is without doubt.
